| Why is this the right answer? You might be thinking 'That's an air hockey paddle!' or 'That's an air hockey pusher!', and you'd be right - these are alternative names for the object in the picture. However, before each competition begins our judges decide upon the answer they want - and that's the answer you have to guess! In this example, the judges decided that 'air hockey mallet' was their correct answer - so a guess such as 'air hockey paddle' would be wrong as 'paddle' was not the term we wanted, and a guess such as 'hockey mallet' would be wrong as it missed out the word 'air', which we needed. |
